The ILME article number MBV 24.40DG defines the article hood, size 104.27, BIG alu, 1xM40 top, self-centring docking frame, gasket. The BIG series of enclosures extends the existing range of hoods and offers a particularly large wiring space for connecting large conductor cross sections or cable conduits. The split construction further simplifies the wiring and installation of the contact insert. This enclosure series is especially suitable for the installation of inserts of the MIXO series, since a separate cable outlet can be used for each module. In the BIG hood even the installation of command and signalling devices, as well as printed circuit boards or other electronic components is possible. As a lower part, we recommend enclosures with a particularly strong locking system, such as the series C7, due to the usually higher weight.
